Every year, thousands of Nigerians face uncertainty and displacement due to extreme flooding. Most recently, around 110,000 Nigerians in the state of Benue were forced to flee their homes and communities.
Thando’s chose to partner with Sesôr for its Akonmi “Water Hero” collection, which is available for pre-order now.
Sesôr is a non-profit organization that provides relief (e.g., food, supplies, mental health services) to those who lost everything and are living in camps for the displaced.
Last week, Thando’s team member, Dammy, accompanied Sesôr on a relief trip to the Benue state. Nigerians rely on community-backed organizations like Sesôr for help. Below are some photos from that trip.
